Dermaplaning with custom Enzyme Peel
Dermaplaning is a simple and safe procedure for exfoliating the face and riding of fine vellus hairs (peach fuzz). Dermaplaning uses a sterile surgical scalpel specially designed for the face to gently remove the top layer of dead skin. Dermaplaning is more gentle, yet deeper exfoliating then microdermabrasion. Dermaplaning is a skin resurfacing procedure, stimulating collagen production, treating acne scars, unwanted hair and other cosmetic concerns. For a quick treatment with no downtime, dermaplaning might be just what you need for smooth, glowing skin. Also, can be added on to any Facial or a Peel. Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture
The epidermis, the top layer of the skin, produces large amounts of keratin, a protein that helps give the skin its rigidity and elasticity. The epidermis is avascular (does not contain blood vessels) and has to rely on the dermis, the second layer of skin, for oxygen to survive. During the aging process, our skin looses elastic fibers from the dermis, and nutrients do not diffuse through the epidermis as regularly. Additionally, the subctaneous skin tissue (hypodermis) dimnishes, causing the skin to wrinkle and sag.
